Fall festival

We went to the Fall Family Festival at the depot last Saturday. The kids had fun riding on the kiddy train, drawing for the coloring contest, getting their face painted, making a rope, and the unforgettable Kirby Kangaroo! Jena is warming up to Kirby by quickly shaking his hand, Jonathan gave him a quick high five while shaking in fear! Jena was also a #1 bidder for some homemade apple tarts! Daffy update- Marty put him in with the recently weaned calves, in a pen below our house. He has been down in the pasture with his "friends" for a whole night! Tonight when after Marty fed all the calves, Daffy waited to be fed in a bucket away from the others. Yes, Marty still gets to spoil him!
