Tonight was the night that Daffy was to go and meet all his brothers and sisters(friends). We tied a rope around him and walked him down to the pasture below our house. He loved the fresh grass, which made it hard to pull him down there. (This is actually the last picture we took of the night.)

We took some oats down for all the cows so Daffy would know where to get his grain. He's a little like kids, he's always hungry.

We had fun with Daffy before we head down to the pasture. (picture) Now for the rest of the story: After we gave grain and said our good byes we came back home. The kids and Daddy were playing outside when they see Daffy coming down the lane, running toward them!!! The electric fence is not hooked up and Daffy escaped through the fence! He is now back in his home pen for the night. I guess we'll get ready for some more tears tomorrow when he goes back.
