Family Camp

We had a great weekend at Church Family Camp! The kids were introduced to minature golf- Jena thinks we should build some at our house. The highlight for Jena was the horse ride. We took her both days to ride. The faster we went, the more she enjoyed it! Jonathan would sit on one but that was enough. On Saturday, Jena and I went swimming at the lake while the guys finished their naps. We also went swimming in the indoor pool. Sunday night we all went down to the lake and rode in the paddle boat. After we were 1/2 way across the lake, we realized that my paddle was the only one working! I now had an excuse for eating an extra smore! Jena made friends easily during Children's church. It's amazing to me, at a camp with around 600 people, how many kids would say hi to Jena after the first day!! Finally, when we got home, Jonathan had to get back to work. He had to get on Daddy's workboots and workgloves and go feed the cows! Oh, how he loves to feed the cows!
